Hartbreakers

820 Hart St, Brooklyn, NY 11237

From the creative team behind Champs Diner, Hartbreakers is a fast-casual, all vegan restaurant with a rotating menu. I got the Picnic Basket which is basically fried chicken and bacon - but veganized, and I never thought I’d say this, but not eating meat never tasted so good.

Archie’s

128 Central Avenue

As much as I love Roberta’s, there ARE other pizza places in the neighborhood that make your soul happy. Archie’s is one of those places. And you can make your own! In addition to pastas, grinders and the traditional Italian staples.

Mominette Bistro

221 Knickerbocker Ave

Mominette is a unique restaurant and bar in Bushwick with a menu of French bistro favorites, weekend brunch and bar.

Great prices, great meals, oysters, outdoor space? All the best things.

L.A. Burrito

67 Wilson Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11237

In the best honest possible way, I describe this burrito as diiiirty. The outside looks like your normal bodega, but inside is a haven for I think, the best burrito I’ve ever had. It has everything you could want and takes it to the next level.

Guadaloupe Inn

1 Knickerbocker Avenue

The 80-seat restaurant evokes the warm and vibrant feelings of a 40’s era supper club. In addition to the cocktails and tacos, the venue hosts bands and DJ’s almost every night.

Cape House

2 Knickerbocker Ave

Hands down the best bacon I’ve ever had in my life. Do I need to go on? The place has a bar/club downstairs at night, a New England seafood shack during most of the day and this rad brunch menu in the morning. It’s been too long since I’ve been back and now I want it immediately.
